PRIVATE medical check-up programs
Our private medical Check-ups offer you a comprehensive Heart and vascular care - individually tailored to your health situation and personal risk factors. From Essential check-up as basic diagnostics up to Professional check-up With high-end procedures such as whole-body MRI (GK-MRI), you receive all services from a single source - for maximum safety and prevention.
Essential check-up
Most of the examinations in the Essential Check-up can usually be carried out via Private health insurance (PKV) can be billed. This check-up is therefore particularly suitable for patients who require a solid basic diagnosis for cardiac care.
Professional check-up - including state-of-the-art radiological imaging
The Professional Check-up offers advanced diagnostics using state-of-the-art procedures. These services are among the most modern preventive measures and must generally be booked as Self-payer service can be utilized.
Note on billing:
Private health insurance companies generally cover part of the costs for our check-ups - especially for the "Essential Check-up". The statutory health insurance funds unfortunately do not cover these costs - but you can take advantage of the check-up as a self-payer.

Detailed physical examination
Your body is systematically examined - e.g. heart, lungs, abdomen, skin - to detect abnormalities at an early stage.
Risk factor analysis (PROCAM score)
The PROCAM score calculates your personal risk of cardiovascular disease over the next 10 years - based on factors such as cholesterol, blood pressure, smoking and diabetes.
Anthropometry incl. bioimpedance analysis
Weight, height, fat percentage, muscle mass and water percentage are determined - important values for assessing metabolism and health status.
BMI - Ratio of weight to height - indicates overweight or underweight.
Waist/hip circumference, WHR & WHtR - Show fat distribution and risk of heart disease or diabetes.
Body composition - Provides insight into the ratio of muscle to fat mass.
Oxygen saturation (pulse oximetry) & Fagerström test
Measures how much oxygen your blood transports - important for lung and heart function.
For nicotine dependence (Fagerström test):
This short test assesses your physical dependence on smoking and is the basis for possible smoking cessation.
Carotid sonography
Duplex sonography of the carotid arteries to assess blood flow and deposits (plaques) - early warning system for stroke risk.
incl. age- and gender-adjusted intima-media thickness measurement (cIMT) for the
Measurement of the vessel walls to assess the risk of arteriosclerosis.
Sonography of the thyroid gland
Ultrasound of the thyroid gland to detect nodules, cysts or enlargement - important for metabolism and hormone balance.
12-lead ECG / resting ECG
Recording of electrical heart activity - detects arrhythmias, circulatory disorders or a silent heart attack
Spirometry (lung function)
Checks how well your lungs are working - important for shortness of breath, smoking history or early detection of asthma or COPD.
Pulse wave analysis incl. ABI index (ankle-brachial index)
Shows the elasticity of the arteries and the blood flow in the legs - for early detection of vascular calcification (arteriosclerosis).
Ergometry (stress ECG)
Exercise test on a bicycle - shows how your heart works under physical exertion and detects possible circulatory disorders.
Detailed final discussion
In a personal consultation, all findings are explained in detail, images are shown and individual measures are discussed.
Lifestyle advice
Based on your values, you will receive specific recommendations on nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress - tailored to you.
Written final report
You receive all the results summarized in an easy-to-understand report - ideal for passing on to your family doctor or specialist.
A day for your health
Costs and reimbursement
Our Essential check-up is based on medically indicated services and is paid in accordance with the Scale of fees for doctors (GOÄ) billed. Therefore private health insurance usually covers the costs of this examination.
If in doubt, please clarify in advance with your insurance company whether the costs will be covered in full.
Important: Statutory health insurance companies do not currently cover these services. However, implementation is considered Self-payer service possible.
Tip: More and more employers are promoting the health of their employees and covering the costs of preventive health measures. As part of our affiliated European Prevention Centers we also carry out employer-financed check-ups.

Ergometry (stress ECG)
Exercise test on a bicycle - shows how your heart works under physical exertion and detects possible circulatory disorders.
Heart rate variability
By analyzing the fluctuations between heartbeats, the autonomic nervous system can be assessed. The HRV provides information about the current stress level and the body's ability to regulate itself.
Tissue Doppler echocardiography (TDE)
This special form of echocardiography allows a precise assessment of heart muscle function. Early indications of myocardial dysfunction can be detected even before symptoms appear.
Doppler echocardiography / STRAIN analysis
Using modern ultrasound technology and STRAIN analysis, the mechanical function of the heart is evaluated in detail. Subtle changes in pumping function can thus be detected at an early stage.
Ergospirometry
The combination of exercise ECG and respiratory gas analysis enables a differentiated assessment of heart, lung and metabolic function under physical stress. It is the gold standard for performance diagnostics and for identifying possible limitations.
